Created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada.
The shades of GREEN represent the strong agricultural presence in Perth County. BLUE represents the many rivers and creeks flowing through the fertile farmland. RED is for the blood sacrificed by the early settlers and veterans who gave their lives so that we could prosper and GOLD signifies the industrious nature of the people of Perth County.
Open to all quilters, fibre artists, embroiderers. Using the Perth County Tartan as your inspiration: think about what those colours represent. The interpretation is yours. The finished work must be 12" x 12".
Traditional, modern, abstract..... be the artist!
